SAFETY INFORMATION

A copy of the hotel’s floor plan, with emergency exits, is located on the back of your room door.

In Case of Fire:

•  Remain Calm

•  Keep your room key with you at all times

•  Use the stairs to exit, not the elevators

•  Stay low in smoke filled areas

If the Fire is in Your Room:

•  Leave the room and close the door behind you.

•  Activate the nearest alarm box, if possible.

•  Call the hotel operator on the nearest phone by dialing “0” and specify the location of the fire.

•  Go to the nearest stairwell and walk down to the exit.

If the Fire is Outside Your Room:

•  Stay in the safety of your room to wait for instructions from hotel management

•  Dial “0” to let the operator know your location

If You Decide to Leave Your Room:

•  Take your key with you

•  Touch the door handle and frame to see if they are hot. If they are not, open the door carefully, keeping low as you do so.

•  If possible, go to the nearest stairwell and walk down to exit the building or enter a safe floor.

If the Door is Hot:

•  Stay Calm

•  Dial “0” to let the hotel operator know your location.

•  Stay in your room and keep the door shut.

•  Turn off the air-conditioner.

•  Fill the bathtub with water so you have a water supply.

•  Place wet towels along the bottom of the door and over any vents where there is smoke.

•  Stay below any smoke in the room until help arrives.

Your Safety and Security is very important. Please Read and Practice the following Safety Rules.

1).   Don’t Answer the door in your hotel room without verifying who it is. If a person claims to be an employee, call the Front Desk and ask if someone from his or her staff is supposed to have access to your room and for what purpose.

2).   When returning to your hotel late in the evening, use the main entrance of the hotel. Be observant and look around before entering parking lots.

3).   Close the door securely whenever you are in your room and use all of the locking devices provided.

4).   Don’t needlessly display guest room keys in public or carelessly leave them on restaurant tables, at swimming pool, or other places where they can be easily stolen.

5).   Do not draw attention to yourself by displaying large amounts of cash or expensive jewelry.

6).   Don’t invite strangers to your room.

7).   Place all valuables in the safety deposit box, located in your guest room.

8).   Do not leave valuables in your vehicle and lock doors when not in use.

9).   If your room has a connecting door, make sure it is locked

10).  If you see any suspicious activity, please report your observation to the management.
