HOTEL AMENITY FEE
Similar to other hotels in the area, the Grand Hotel Orlando does charge a nightly Resort or Amenity Fee. The Amenity Fee at the Grand Hotel Orlando is $20 plus tax ($22.50) and listed below are many of the amenities that are included in the Amenity Fee:

- Daily Scheduled Transportation to Universal Orlando Resort™
- Daily Scheduled Transportation to Walt Disney World Resort
- Use of an In-Room Safe and Mini-Fridge
- Unlimited Local Calls in the Orlando area
SHUTTLE SERVICE
The Grand Hotel Orlando at Universal Blvd does have Shuttle Service to the major theme parks and the shuttle schedule is available at the Front Desk upon check-in.
Please be at the Pickup Locations at least 10 minutes prior to boarding time. Shuttle Times are subject to change due to traffic and weather conditions. Groups of 9 or more may not use this shuttle and should make arrangements for a private charter.
Please note that Handicap Shuttle Services must be scheduled 24-hours in advance. Motorized Scooters and foldable wheel-chairs are not eligible for wheel-chair accessible vehicle.
CRIBS
Cribs are available at no cost and are based on availability. To ensure that a crib is reserved for your room, please request this item in advance of your arrival.
NON-SMOKING ROOMS
The Grand Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd is a Non-Smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms and all public space. There are designated areas for smokers throughout the hotel property.
There will be a $200 room recovery fee for guests who do not comply. This fee will be used to cover the extensive cost of restoring the guest room back to a smoke-free condition.
GUEST LAUNDRY
The Laundry Room is open daily from 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM and guests need to use their room key to gain access to the area. Washers and Dryers are all coin operated and take quarters only. Washers are $3.00 a machine load and Dryers are $3.00 a machine load. Change and Laundry Supplies may be purchased at the Front Desk or the gift shop.
SERVICE ANIMALS
With the exception of Service Animals, Pets are not allowed at The Grand Hotel Orlando at Universal Blvd.
Rooms reserved with a Service Animal must be reserved at least one week prior to arrival.
** Rooms found occupied with pets will be charged a Pet Fee of $500 plus tax to cover additional cleaning & sanitizing (Carpet Shampooing, etc).
PACKAGE DELIVERIES
Packages can be mailed to the Hotel to your attention, however, there is a Package Fee for all deliveries accepted on your behalf. Packages should indicate the name on the reservation and arrival date.
The Fee Schedule is listed below:
• Packages up to 10 lbs. $7.00 plus tax per package**
• Packages over 10 lbs. $11.00 plus tax per package**
** The above rates are based on packages being received and held for an in-house guest or guest arriving within 7 days. Packages received and held for guests who hold a reservation arriving more than 7 days into the future, will be charged an additional $1 per package per day over 7 days. This fee will be charged and collected by the Front Desk on arrival.
LOCAL TROLLEY
There is a trolley that services the International Drive (I-Drive) Area. The I-RIDE Trolley travels throughout the I-Drive Resort Area servicing over 100 convenient stops approximately every 20 minutes. The I-RIDE Trolley is definitely a fun and convenient way to get around! The link below will provide you with more information on all dining, attractions and shopping available in the I-Drive Area.
The Trolley does stop in front of The Grand Hotel Orlando at Universal Blvd on our street, Universal Boulevard, which is on the Green Line North Bound. Our stop is G7(Yellow). Directly across the street is the stop for the Green Line South Bound G7(Green). The Trolley runs from 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM daily. Trolley Tickets can be purchased on the Trolley for single rides.
Trolley Prices are as follows:
• Single Cash Fare $2.00 per ride
• Kids Cash Fare $1.00 per ride (ages 3-9)
• Seniors Cash Fare $0.25 per ride (ages 65 and over)
If you will be making more than one stop, your best value would be a Pass with unlimited use. With a Single Fare Ticket, your cost would be $4 roundtrip to just one stop ($2 going and $2 returning). Pass prices are:
• One-Day Pass $6.00 per person
• Three-Day Pass $8.00 per person
• Five-Day Pass $10.00 per person
• Seven-Day Pass $16.00 per person
• Fourteen-Day Pass $20.00 per person
